Job Description
Location: Oklahoma City, Ok
Description:
The Contingent Workforce Professional is an experienced practitioner responsible for supporting the company's contingent workforce program and helping coordinate the full contractor lifecycle — supplier engagement, onboarding, compliance, time and expense, invoicing, and offboarding. This position provides day-to-day program support, resolves issues, maintains process documentation, and serves as a knowledgeable resource for leaders, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders across Supply Chain and adjacent functions such as Human Resources, Accounting, Technology, and Legal.
The position supports a wide variety of internal and external customers by responding to inquiries, coordinating cross-functional activities, maintaining accurate workforce data, and assisting with program improvements. This position requires initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to complete work independently with limited supervision. At this level, the employee is expected to support projects and initiatives, provide guidance to leaders and suppliers, translate contingent workforce data into actionable information, and share knowledge with less experienced team members.
Essential Functions:
- Provide best-in-class customer service and program support across the full contractor lifecycle.
- Demonstrate VNDLY proficiency across requisition and procurement, onboarding, timesheet and expense approval, invoicing, and offboarding. Provide system support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate configuration questions and integrations with SAP, Workday, and other enterprise applications.
- Demonstrate SAP accounting proficiency, and understand how contingent worker data flows between VNDLY, SAP, and downstream financial and reporting systems.
- Support workforce reporting that turns contingent labor data into actionable information, including spend and rate analysis, supplier scorecards, headcount and tenure trends, and external benchmarking. Reporting capability in Snowflake, Power BI, Spotfire, or advanced Excel is a plus.
- Support supplier management activities including supplier onboarding and offboarding, supplier optimization and rationalization, performance management, and rate and contract term review in partnership with Supply Chain and Legal.
- Ensure all contingent workforce content, training material, and process documentation remains up to date; deliver training to company leaders and share knowledge across the team.
- Support projects with efficiency and timeliness, including enterprise initiatives with leadership visibility. Coordinate project meetings, prepare materials, present updates as needed, and organize workload with consistency.
- Adapt to system, process, and organizational change — including merger and integration activity, interim operating models, and multi-system environments — while keeping the business supported through transition.
- Not only models the behaviors of a positive and innovative work environment but encourages others as well, including mentoring and developing less experienced team members.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in contingent workforce management, vendor management, or supply chain services is required.
- Experience working with VNDLY or a comparable vendor management system (Fieldglass, Beeline, or similar) is required.
- Experience with SAP (S/4HANA and/or HCM) preferred.
- Reporting and analytics capability is a plus — Snowflake, Power BI, Spotfire, Workday reporting, or advanced Excel.
- Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP) or comparable certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of worker classification, FLSA, and co-employment risk preferred.
- Superior problem/issue identification and resolution skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidence with leaders, suppliers, and contractors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent verbal, oral and written communication/presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
