Description:
The Human Resource Coordinator provides administrative support as needed for both Human Resources and Accounting. This includes recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits, safety, leave of absences, record-keeping, file maintenance, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) databases.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Assists with posting jobs on external recruiting platforms.
- Attend local job fairs and recruiting events within the communities.
- Develop & maintain relationships with local schools, chambers, and community partners.
- Submits background checks, authorizes drug screens, and other employment related requirements.
- Assists with health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, open enrollment process, etc.
- Audits & reconciles benefit-related deductions to ensure that they match the monthly bills.
- Responds to requests for employment verifications and benefit-related requests.
- Completes I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
- Supports all safety initiatives.
- Assists with maintaining safety records, ensuring compliance with OSHA & Safety policies.
- Assists with facilitating the annual performance review & incentive-based compensation processes.

- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP credential preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Visits job sites when necessary, so must be able to follow all job safety requirements.
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
