Laboratory Technician II

Responsibilities:

• Log samples into the data management system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare samples for analysis.
• Analyze routine samples using GC instruments.
• Perform instrument maintenance as needed.
• Process results and enter data into the data management system.
• Deliver and transport samples between laboratories as needed.
• Clean laboratory glassware.
• Dispose of samples and compile hazardous waste.
• Track inventory and purchase laboratory supplies.
• Help implement 5S in laboratory and work spaces.
• Complete safety training and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Chemistry or a related science.
• 1–3 years of industrial laboratory experience.
• Experience with electronic gases is preferred, including toxic and flammable gases such as silane, diborane, dichlorosilane (DCS), nitrogen, oxygen, and compressed silicon gases.
• Ability to learn, understand, and follow SOPs.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative.
• Good verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance from coworkers.
