International Tax Manager

Location: Remote

Description:

We are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to support multi-jurisdictional tax compliance and related activities across the US, UK, EU, and Australia. This is an individual contributor role focused on hands-on execution and technical accuracy. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales tax compliance and related reporting.
  • Handle state notices, respond to inquiries, and resolve related issues.
  • Address payroll tax matters and employment tax compliance.
  • Perform share repurchase calculations and related tax analysis.
  • Support income tax compliance with emphasis on state-level requirements.
  • Prepare and review partnership tax returns, composite returns, S-corporation returns, and foreign filings.
  • Analyze taxation differences between partnerships and corporations; prepare and review K-1s.
  • Perform book-versus-tax estimates and related reconciliations.
  • Advise on complex corporate structures, including PTET elections.
  • Conduct treaty-related analysis and support foreign filing obligations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors by providing clear, well-organized support and documentation for audit requests.
  • Ensure accurate, timely compliance across US, UK, EU, and Australian jurisdictions.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant tax experience (no prior management experience required).
  • Strong background in state and local tax (SALT), employment/payroll tax, and income tax (especially state-level).
  • Experience with complex corporate structures, partnerships vs. corporations, PTET elections, K-1 preparation/review, book-to-tax differences, partnership returns, composite returns, S-corps, foreign filings, and treaty analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with external auditors and provide clear, audit-ready support.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines.
  • CPA not required.
