Description:
Work closely with Industrial Direction, Supply Chain, Pasadena warehouse, and Finance teams to execute maintenance inventory consolidation initiatives.
Essential Job Functions:

- Support the Maintenance Inventory Management Specialist with transfer and logistics of inventory to the Pasadena warehouse
- Assist with preparation for satellite location closures and coordinate Maximo closures with Industrial Direction
- Initiate, drive, and participate in maintenance inventory projects
- Collect and update data; develop strategic solutions to close data gaps, drive efficiencies, and support business-priority projects
- Determine which inventory is operating consumable/expensed (per existing procedure), kept on site, and tracked outside Maximo
- Determine which maintenance inventory transfers to the Pasadena warehouse (per existing procedure) and is tracked in Maximo
- Engage IT on operating system adjustments or additions (e.g., virtual warehouses)
- Evaluate and document spare parts physical inventory at satellite warehouses
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of item attributes
- Identify duplicate and inaccurate data in Maximo and Oracle
- Coordinate and execute data clean-ups with Industrial Direction, Procurement, Finance, and suppliers
- Create or modify processes to improve accuracy, completeness, and efficiency of inventory data collection and maintenance
- Register maintenance inventory in Maximo and Oracle as required
- Develop, design, implement, and maintain activity/status reports on progress, catalog management, KPIs, metrics, procedures, tools, and training
- Conduct inventory analysis and assess management procedures using industry best practices and tools
- Report progress to plant management, corporate reliability management, and supply chain management
- Lift/carry up to 30 pounds occasionally

- Required: 7 years supply chain management or inventory/asset management in MRP systems, plus basic knowledge of maintenance planning or plant reliability processes
- Preferred: Managing maintenance inventory/assets in Maximo
