Description
- Prepares, analyzes, routes and administers company legal documents pertaining t0 third party service contracts across the organization, including technology, operations, consulting and other commercial contracts (as specified by position).
- Works closely with business stakeholders, attorneys, procurement personnel, and other internal stakeholders to ensure contracts are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze, prepare, review, route, maintain, and/or process contracts, records, and related legal documents.
- With direction, research and understand legal documents to ensure compliance with company standards, tariffs, policies, and procedures including insurance, credit, cybersecurity and data privacy requirements.
- Negotiate contract terms and provisions as required.
- Escalate non-standard issues to senior analysts or attorneys as appropriate.
- Utilize contract administration software in daily work, maintain compute database and imaging systems for agreements, related documentation.
- Utilize independent decision making to recommend system improvements as needed.
- Provide information, guidance, and assistance to internal customers, attorneys, procurement personnel and other stakeholders regarding contract requirements and processes.
- Compile and analyze reports to management, attorneys, and other company personnel.
- Prepare and obtain all approvals, waivers, vendor information including certificates of insurance and prequalification documents, and other legal documents.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Position Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of working with contracts involving information technology, pipeline operations, leases, consulting and other commercial contracts.
- Working knowledge of basic contract concepts.
- Experience with application of basic math and algebraic formulas used in various spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge and experience of recording requirements of legal documents.
- Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including computers, contract management, database and imaging systems, and spreadsheet and word processing software.

- Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
- Paralegal or other relevant legal experience;
- Formal education or combination of education and relevant experience
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Applicable drivers license
- Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings and to other business locations.
- Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.
- Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
