I&E Designer/SPI Administrator III

Location: Roxana, IL

Description:

• # years of experience in Instrument & Electrical Design
• In depth knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical standards, methods, and practices
• In depth knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI)
• Experience with migrating entire systems to SPI
• Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment
• Must be able to perform field walk downs
• Must be able to work both individually and on a team
• Strong work ethic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• AAS in Drafting/Design or equivalent

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating and revising I&E drawings throughout the design and MOC processes
• Assembling I&E design packages that will be utilized for construction purposes
• Providing design assistance throughout all phases of projects
• Tracking and reporting progress for current and future SPI migration projects
• Managing SPI Database for all units of Refinery
• Overseeing and training less experienced Designers/Drafters to use SPI

Software/Hardware Qualifications:

• Required
  • Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI)
  • AutoCAD (or equivalent)
  • Basic computer/PC skills
  • Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Preferred
  • Falcon
  • SAP

Experience Qualifications:

• Required
  • Worked in a similar capacity in a previous role.
• Preferred
  • Worked in a similar capacity in similar industry (refining, petro-chemical, etc.)
