Job Description

Sr. Electrical Designer 

Location: Houston, Tx

Description:
Prepare and develop electrical design drawings — one-line diagrams, panel schedules, cable/raceway layouts, grounding, lighting, and power distribution — under the direction of the Electrical Engineer of Record. Prepare material take-offs, equipment lists, and cable/conduit schedules.
  • Develop and maintain electrical CAD/BIM models (AutoCAD, Revit) for assigned projects.
  • Prepare material take-offs, equipment lists, and cable/conduit schedules.
  • Support preparation of specifications, datasheets, and requisitions for electrical equipment procurement.
  • Support field engineering for design changes during construction.
  • Apply applicable codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, local utility requirements) to all design deliverables.
  • Must be proficient in AutoCad and Revit
