Location: Tulsa, OK

Description:

The Card business unit is our company’s home for innovation. It identifies, incubates, and realizes new products and synergies between the various group companies. It creates an in-house space for driving innovation and nurturing our next-gen products.

As Senior Systems Analyst, you will work closely with the product and development teams to design and execute projects in line with the Company’s overall product strategy. You will take features from the road map and work with the development team to deliver them to customers. This position requires creativity to contribute to the product vision. It will require careful thought on ensuring a successful product launch by focusing on critical areas such as internal communication, marketing, training, customer support, and sales. A solid technical understanding of software development, agile project management, and digital payments will be advantageous. 

The position will be based in Tulsa, Oklahoma (USA). Familiarity with and experience in Africa is a plus but not mandatory as is previous experience in working for an international organization with teams across multiple time zones.

 
Responsibilities
  • Discuss new features with internal departments to understand requirements. 
  • Maintain product roadmaps, and constantly update the backlog.
  • Monthly reporting on deliverables to various levels of the organization
  • Product demos and presentations (can be internal and external) 
  • Create various business requirement documents that are organized and easy for the development team to translate into software changes, including functional specifications, workflows, use cases, business rules, process flows, data flows, test cases, and training materials as required.  
  • Assist with creating/updating external documentation such as merchant integration specs
  • Develop user stories 
  • Participate in and assist quality assurance of applications
  • Run and own design review sessions and work with technical teams to define a solution
  • Run stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews 
  • Provide recommendations and specifications to refine business processes, as needed, to achieve a positive impact 
  • Track features and tasks in Jira software or other recommended software
  • Ensure the Product Checklist is completed as required
  • Understand customer pain points and prioritize urgent fixes while maintaining long term goals 
  • Collaborate with the product team to define the product vision 
  • Assure compliance with our Company’s and Payment Card Industry policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
  • Own and develop relationships with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integrations.
  • Assist with any other ad-hoc tasks as required. 


Essential Skills
  • Passionate about system design, consistency, and high-quality documentation 
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) 
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to share information in a meaningful way 
  • Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills 
  • Should have worked in cards/payments/transaction processing domain
  • Can work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment 
  • Thrives in a diverse, collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts 
  • Highly organized and able to priorities work appropriately 
  • Willing to take accountability for work produced 
  • Comfortable working in a highly complex environment 
  • Experience with technical projects, not necessarily software

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science or related field 
  • Qualification in project management or similar 
  • 4-5 years of direct work experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or relevant Project Management experience 
  • Demonstrated insight and experience in complex, deep product solution design in financial services/payments/e-commerce 
  • Passionate about system design, consistency, and high-quality documentation 
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology 
  • Experience with technical projects, not necessarily software but previous software experience will be a bonus. 
  • Excellent customer service attitude, good communications skills (both verbal and written), good organizational skills, and the ability to cope with and manage a constantly changing environment
