Job Description

SCADA Analyst II

Location:  Houston, TX or Tulsa, OK

Description:

As SCADA Analyst II, you will assist in collaborating with business partners to identify requirements, and translate those into SCADA system requirements and logical/functional designs for SCADA solutions. Maintaining focus on continuous improvement and implementing lean processes will improve performance and safety. The ability to tackle problems and collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization are keys to success! Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Works within defined SCADA and business processes, procedures and standards to deliver SCADA solutions

  • Provides system assessments, design and development for SCADA application components

  • Configures, fixes, and supports Operational and Measurement data gathering using SCADA and other applications

  • Supports and maintains SCADA and related application functionality, including screens/displays, data gathering, and interfaces

  • Supports business processes using SCADA applications, including 24/7 on-call support as the need arises

  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: Associate's degree, a minimum of one (1) year experience in a SCADA or HMI role

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

  • Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

  • Demonstrates knowledge of network operations and telecommunications

  • Possesses SQL query writing capabilities

  • Preferred: Experience with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware, and OPC protocol

  • Preferred: Windows programming experience (Python, VBScript, Ladder Logic)

  • Preferred: Solid grasp of database development and management and OPC protocol

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree
