Receptionist

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description


We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support to the Human Resources department. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant and positive personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to
deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquires
  • Maintains security by following procedures; visitor sign-in and badges
  • Issue security access badges and maintain database
  • Deliveries – locate and notify recipients
  • Supplies management i.e., nameplates and office supplies
  • Administrative responsibilities as required i.e., distribute incoming faxes as necessary, assist other staff members

Requirements
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience and Skills
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Reception experience preferred
  • Administrative or office experience; minimum 2 plus years
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must be proficient in English verbal and written communication
  • Professionalism and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere to customers, vendors, and employees
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (especially Word and Excel)
  • Customer focus
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to follow procedures and detail-oriented
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruption
  • Neat in appearance and well groomed
  • Pleasant and positive attitude
  • Strong problem solving and follow through skills required
