Project Manager

Location: Houston, TX


Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, mechanical aptitude, and proven project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and production staff, to drive project milestones and resolve issues promptly.
  • Manufacturing Oversight: Leverage mechanical aptitude and manufacturing knowledge to guide the design, fabrication, and assembly of custom equipment, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and technical specifications, to support internal and client needs.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
