Description:

Follow established material management processes. Communicate and provide input for opportunities that improve accuracy and efficiency across yards and warehouses, including training employees and contractors.

Participate in process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance material tracking.

Ensuring operational integrity by coordinating workflows, assisting and mentoring team members, and validating documentation for material movements.

Investment Recovery – follow current procedures to identify, collect, communicate, track, and complete material sales
Tracking / Validation:
-
Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking material movements, working with finance/supply chain, performing physical counts, reconciling discrepancies across multiple storage locations, and updating records in SAP inventory systems.

Support material handling and logistics by assisting with receiving, storing, and staging materials for field operations and projects.

Drive cost transparency by creating tools and processes to monitor spending on labor, trucking, rentals, and equipment, while anticipating pricing fluctuations.

Support logistics and labor coordination by working closely with service providers to ensure resources meet operational demands.
People Engagement:

Build and strengthen internal and external stakeholder relationships through regular engagement, sharing key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying new partnership opportunities.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering to maintain adequate inventory levels and support related projects.

Assist with documentation by preparing and maintaining spreadsheets, logs, and reports for material movements and inventory status.

Team contributions through daily engagement, flexibility, and coverage by supporting multiple storage locations and cross-training on yard and warehouse activities.
Safety:

Ensure safe operations by following all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) guidelines and participating in site safety meetings.

Champion safety performance by maintaining site-specific safety goals, supervising on-site activities, and supporting Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) initiatives.
Experience:
-
Experience with Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and production equipment.

Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Daily Mission:

As a Materials Management Associate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting safe, efficient, and accurate material handling across yards and warehouses.
-
This entry-level position focuses on inventory control, material movement, disposal/sales, and logistics coordination to ensure operational readiness for field activities. You’ll work closely with the Shared Services Supervisor, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support material transfers, and uphold safety standards.

This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to the success of field operations. Your efforts will help minimize downtime, optimize material availability, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Inventory Tracking and Reconciliation:
-
Oversee and monitor the organization’s owned inventory at third-party yards utilizing SAP/S4 systems to maintain accurate records of stock levels and material movement.

Collaboration with MM associates to accurately track inventory transfers between yards, both physically and in SAP

Collaborating with production advisors to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensure the organization’s inventory use, and analyze new and used material costs.

Plan and execute annual physical inventory counts at all locations, including third-party yards, to reconcile physical stock with electronic records maintained in SAP, quickly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

Ensure strict adherence to supply chain standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs), foster consistency and compliance across all inventory management activities.

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to implement inventory control measures and optimize stock accuracy.
