Lab Technician

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join their team, focusing on the testing of petroleum products, including refined products, natural gas liquids (NGL), biodiesel, and ethanol. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to two years of lab experience to contribute to essential tasks within our lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of petroleum products, ensuring compliance with established protocols and standards.
• Utilize basic laboratory glassware and instruments effectively, following safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with routine tasks and documentation to support the lab team, especially during periods of staff shortages.
• Develop proficiency in lab techniques and procedures, with the potential to take on more complex tasks as confidence and skills grow.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a strong lab culture.

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline; a degree in Chemistry is preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory glassware and instrumentation.
• Strong laboratory skill set, with an understanding of safety protocols.
