Description
Seeking an Instrumentation Specialist to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands on experience supporting EPC projects from early design through commissioning and turnover.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers and cross functional teams to support the specification, procurement, and implementation of instrumentation systems used in industrial facilities.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Establish a “safety first” culture throughout all managed efforts
- Responsible for the specification and procurement of instrumentation such as transmitters, switches and gauges for pressure, temperature, flow & level applications, as per OPD and client specifications
- Development of the Instrument Index and instrument datasheets using SmartPlant Instrumentation
- Preparation of RFQ packages for instruments and performing technical bid evaluations and follow through with purchase order issuance
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including process engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers, to achieve project objectives
- Interact and communicate effectively with procurement team and instrumentation vendors to address procurement and technical issues and ensure project milestones are met
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- An Associate’s degree or higher in an Engineering or Technology discipline
- Working knowledge of field instrumentation
