Global Tax Manager
Location: Tulsa, OK - Hybrid

Essential Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate, timely filing of US federal, state, and local income tax returns, international returns, and other business-related filings.
Ensure ongoing analysis of US federal/state and international tax compliance, including research and documentation of tax nexus and permanent establishment
Engage with external tax consultants to manage quarterly estimates and tax planning strategies
Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
Develop and implement strategic tax planning that complies with laws and promotes company’s financial well-being while aligning with business goals
Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments, and suggest strategies to capitalize on the changes to taxation legislation.
Manage and facilitate tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
Monitor industry trends and track changes related to tax legislation
Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of tax process.
Register and file for any/all taxes in states as needed.
Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and/or provide workpapers for external tax consultants to complete corporate return
Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects.
Manage all tax compliance and systems
Assist in the development, feasibility modeling, and implementation of Company’s global tax strategy
Manage asset depreciation
Manage and mentor members of the team to create greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.
Analyze financial records and identify potential tax deductions or savings that may not have been considered.
Review financial and accounting processes to ensure compliance
Requirements
Key Competencies
Knowledge of and ability to stay current on tax changes and laws
Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
In-depth knowledge of accounting processes
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong experience with variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
Ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices
Good understanding of MS Office
Required Education:
CPA preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
Five plus years of experience in the Accounting or Finance with Tax experience preferred
