Description:
- Utilize GIS software to update and maintain gas system and land base spatial data based on information received from internal field operations and external sources.
- Provides entry level GIS-based mapping services to Operations Division to support activities companywide, utilizing GIS software to update and maintain gas system.
- Analyze and interpret source documentation for completeness, accuracy, and usability.
- Communicate with business operations to resolve source documentation problems.
- Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge and/or training related but not limited to:
- Applicable GIS software
- Basic geospatial concepts including:
- Data formats Coordinate systems and map projections
- Table and spatial queries
- Attribute mapping
