Job Description

Coordinator, Fuel Additives Supply and Logistics

Location: Tulsa, OK

Basic Purpose:
Accountable for terminal fuel additive supply, logistics, and eventual dosage into all  propane, gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel each year. Also responsible for reporting, accounting, and invoicing activities related to finished fuel additives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sufficient supply of up to 7 classes of additives at approximately 160 product terminals; annual usage/spend - $22 million per year

  • Work with additive vendors and suppliers to optimize logistical costs of delivering terminal fuel additives

  • Establish and communicate target additive injection rates for PSX and 3rd Party Terminals

  • Monitor actual injection rates and optimize to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize cost

  • Gather and analyze data and provide reports showing actual additive usage, relative to target, and submit to PSX compliance reporting function

  • Facilitate equipment maintenance and calibration activity at PSX and third-party terminals for marketing gasoline additive injection systems

  • Field inquiries related to additive treat rates/costs, transfer costs, etc.

  • Process and audit terminal additive and equipment maintenance invoices


Basic Requirements / Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excel power user; able to create macros, pivot tables, and look-up tables

  • Experience with data base software

  • Adept at numerical calculations and conversions

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Proven communication skills- verbal and written

  • Results oriented

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with other functions and external parties

  • Solid planning and organizing skills

  • Adapts easily to change

  • Self-motivated; able to work with minimal or no supervision

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree
