Location: Grove, OK
Operate CMM to support manufacturing in-process first piece, internal inspection points and customer required first article inspection.
Provide technical support for manufacturing operations to ensure part quality.
Interprets drawings featuring Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) to identify product inspection requirements.
Facilitates, encourages and coordinates continuous improvement with respect to CMM activities.
Generates inspection reports.
Inspect complex machined fixtures, and parts using advanced measuring and layout instruments and equipment.
Participates in design reviews on cross-functional teams to ensure that conformance to specifications, inspect ability, reliability, and quality system objectives are met.
Assist engineering with qualification and validation of new or changed tooling or parts.
Analyze inspection reports to determine adherence to drawings, specifications, and processing procedures.
Prepare detailed inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications.
Work from written or verbal instructions, detailed engineering drawings and 3D models.
Perform all other duties as assigned trust with the supplier, direct reports and peers.
Perform manual part inspections separate from CMM programs

Qualifications and Experience
Vocational or Technical Degree preferred
High school graduate or GED
3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing and machining environment with as a CMM operator
PC-DMIS experience preferred
Must be able to move or lift at least 50 pounds
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch while performing duties
Use of hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hand and arms
