Description:
Technical responsibility of material requisitions / calculations / engineering deliverables (from technical specifications to on-site delivery) for civil site development and infrastructure including site preparation, erosion control, rough grading, finish grading, drainage works through underground or surface networks, pond / containment design, flood mitigation, roadways, railways, and transportation.
About the Job:
- Ensures timely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions / CN / stress report / engineering deliverables in coordination with other disciplines.
- Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by external parties / suppliers.
- Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders.
- Adheres to project target and priority such as technical robustness, budget & schedule target
- Proposes alternate for cost & schedule savings, energy savings in line with project target
- Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
- Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project.
- Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
- Supports more junior engineering employees.
- For small requisition / standard equipment, acts as project manager for his requisition in charge of technical, contractual, expediting and inspection with spot support from project / procurement.

- Autonomy on scope assigned
- Overall responsibility for engineering / contractual & quality control surveillance for civil site development and infrastructure works.
- Engineering degree
- 5 to 12 years of experience in design and execution of projects
- Familiarity with all technical aspects of the discipline and experience in most of them
- Construction experience on site
- Fluency in professional English
- Professional Engineering registration in Texas and/or Louisiana or possess ability to obtain within 4 months of hire.
- Proficiency in software such as Autodesk InfoWorks ICM, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA) or EPA SWMM
