Category Specialist, Digital IT

Description

Provide dedicated sourcing, contracting and supplier management support for Digital IT. This specifically includes:

• Create and manage all contracts and agreements in our electronic contract management system (Ariba)

• Develop and negotiate contracts, including legal terms and conditions, commercial terms and strategic pricing for long term business partners with key suppliers.

• Manage Assigned tasks associated with Digital IT contract portfolio

• Provide support and consultation to Category Management team for IT.

• Negotiate a variety of agreement types including Professional Service Agreements, Master Cloud Services Agreement, Master Software and Licensing Agreement, Non-disclosure agreements, Service Orders, etc.

• Contribute to the continuous process improvement of the Procurement and Digital Contracts organization.

This role will provide contracting and procurement support to the Digital IT function with an emphasis on contract strategy development, sourcing, contract drafting, commercial negotiations, and the negotiation of general legal terms and conditions. Candidate must have the ability to apply a professional approach to the sourcing & contracting of software, hardware and services with a wide variety of suppliers.

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience in Procurement activities.

• Experience with negotiations and contracting

• Must be able to understand contract terms relevant to IT contracts and discern contract deliverables.

• Working knowledge of cloud base services.
