Description:
Designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings. Design architect will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
About the Job:
- Ensures timely and qualitative preparation of architectural concepts, designs, detailed plans, technical specifications and requisitions / reports / engineering deliverables in coordination with clients, contractors, other stakeholders and other disciplines.
- Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by external parties / suppliers / contractors.
- Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders.
- Ensure designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Adheres to project target and priority such as technical robustness, budget & schedule target
- Proposes alternate for cost & schedule savings, energy savings in line with project target
- Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
- Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project.
- Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
- Mentor junior architects, designers or interns, as needed.
- For small requisition / standard equipment, acts as project manager for his requisition in charge of technical, contractual, expediting and inspection with spot support from project / procurement.

- Overall responsibility for engineering / contractual & quality control surveillance for Architectural buildings.
- Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, is highly preferred.
- 5 to 12 years of experience in architectural design and execution of projects.
- Familiarity with all technical aspects of the discipline and experience in most of them.
- Fluency in professional English.
- Professional licensure or certification (e.g., Registered Architect, NCARB certification) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar
