IT Technician (Desktop Support)

Location: Denver, CO

Description


Seeking an IT Technician (Desktop Support) contractor to support the Distributed Services organization. This role is responsible for delivering hands-on technical support to end users, ensuring reliable operation of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals across the enterprise. The technician will work within a centralized support model, handling incidents and service requests while contributing to device lifecycle management and IT initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support for hardware and software issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues
  • Perform IMAC activities (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes)
  • Manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow
  • Meet service level objectives (SLOs)
  • Configure and deploy workstations
  • Support PC refresh and lifecycle management
  • Track and manage IT assets
  • Deliver strong customer service
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–5 years of desktop support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting of Windows OS, hardware, and peripherals
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
