Seeking an IT Technician (Desktop Support) contractor to support the Distributed Services organization. This role is responsible for delivering hands-on technical support to end users, ensuring reliable operation of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals across the enterprise. The technician will work within a centralized support model, handling incidents and service requests while contributing to device lifecycle management and IT initiatives.

The technician will work within a centralized support model, handling incidents and service requests while contributing to device lifecycle management and IT initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues
- Perform IMAC activities (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes)
- Manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow
- Meet service level objectives (SLOs)
- Configure and deploy workstations
- Support PC refresh and lifecycle management
- Track and manage IT assets
- Deliver strong customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of desktop support experience
- Strong troubleshooting of Windows OS, hardware, and peripherals
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Working knowledge of networking concepts
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
