Tax Analyst II
Location: Tulsa, OK - Hybrid

Essential Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation and timely filing of US federal, state, and local income tax returns, international returns, and other business-related filings.
Assist with ongoing analysis of US federal/state and international tax compliance, including research and documentation of tax nexus and permanent establishment
Assist with tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
Assist with registrations and filings for any/all taxes in states as needed.
Prepare sales tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
Prepare tax payments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Assist with completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and/or provide workpapers for external tax consultants to complete corporate return
Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects.
Manage fixed asset listing and depreciation entries.
Assist with tax research projects.
Conduct GL analysis on financials provided to external tax consultants.
Assist in other functions of the accounting team as needed.
Requirements
Key Competencies
Knowledge of and ability to stay current on tax changes and laws
Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
In-depth knowledge of accounting processes
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong experience with variety of tax operations
Ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices
Good understanding of MS Office
Experience with Dynamics GP, Avalara, Sage Fixed Asset, and/or CCH AnswerConnect is a plus
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Two plus years of experience in corporate tax with public accounting experience preferred
Eligible and sitting/expecting to sit for CPA exam preferred
