Sr. Project Manager- Data Workstream

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Workstream Project Manager to lead the data migration, integration, and management efforts for our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex data projects within large-scale ERP implementations. This role requires a unique blend of technical data management skills, project management expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Migration and Integration: Coordinate the planning and execution of data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP platform, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security. Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the ERP system, ensuring seamless data flow across business functions.
• Project Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan that includes all data-related activities. Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure the project stays on time and within budget.
• Data Quality Assurance: Validate implementation strategies, processes, and resources for data cleaning, validation, and deduplication to ensure high data quality within the ERP system.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure data management practices comply with relevant data protection regulations and standards. Work closely with IT security teams to implement data security measures.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for all data-related matters within the ERP project. Engage with business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment with business needs and project objectives.
• Training and Support: Support the coordination and planning of development and delivery of training programs for end-users and IT staff on data management within the ERP system. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful system adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in data management or related fields.
• Proven experience in managing data workstreams within ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of data migration, integration, and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and data integration tools.
• Knowledge of data protection laws and compliance requirements relevant to data management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
