Sr. Manager of Accounting

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description

The Sr. Manager will be responsible for all internal and external financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All financial reporting for the Medicaid LOB, including the management of the accounting ledgers.

• Compliance with all contractual and regulatory financial reporting requirements.

• Meeting internal and external deadlines for financial reporting.

• Manage and develop supporting staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expert level understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).

• Expert level knowledge of general ledger applications and information systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).

• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Work, PowerPoint and other MS Office application.

• Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• CPA certification preferred

• Public accounting experience preferred

• 10+ years of experience in accounting

• 5+ years of experience in accounting at a health plan, preferred Medicaid experience

• 5+ years of experience managing accounting teams (Controller)
