Description
The Senior Manager of FP&A will be a key leader within the Finance team, reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A. This role is responsible for driving strategic financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making across the organization. This role will be instrumental in strategic initiatives, including building scalable processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure financial transparency and discipline. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the executive team and an opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a company undergoing significant transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and compliance needs – partnering with Accounting, Investor Relations, Legal and others to support strategic initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, KPI tracking, and business performance reviews.
- Build and enhance FP&A systems, tools, and processes to support a scalable finance infrastructure with continuous improvement ongoing.
- Leverage technology solutions (CPM, ERP, BI, AI, etc) to generate deep insights to support business modeling and decision making.
- Collaborate with business leaders, finance business partners and other finance functions to identify performance improvement initiatives and provide actionable financial insights.
- Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Prepare board-level presentations and materials for executive leadership.
- Mentor and manage FP&A team members, supporting their professional development and ensuring high performance.
- Work with system administrators to open, close
- and push scenarios aligned with financial close, forecast and reporting timelines and maintain/optimize metadata hierarchies.

- Strong business acumen and understanding of key value drivers across the energy and petrochemical sectors, with emphasis on innovation in process technologies, licensing, and engineering solutions.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
- Experience supporting IPO readiness or public company financial operations is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- MBA, CFA or CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, investment banking, or corporate finance; with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role, including matrix influence without authority roles.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a high-growth organization; public company experience preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and forecasting skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems (OneStream, JDE, or similar platforms).
