Job Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Sr Manager – U.S. Accounting. This role will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with the business, and deliver relevant and dynamic financial analysis via a best-in-class modern global accounting organization. The scope of this role will be activity at US based manufacturing sites.
  • Support the external audit process, including coordination and preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
  • Review and Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with Business Support Center to review and analyze requested schedules for audit to ensure compliance, completeness and accuracy.
  • Support the Maintenance of chart of accounts and ensuring adherence to reporting compliance.
  • Preparation of ad hoc analysis for management as requested.
  • Maintenance of the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
  • Support the Costing project by documents, records and coordination with operations and IT team
  • Material and production cost analysis including preparation of regular variance reports to enable reduction of variances in collaboration with operations.
  • Ensure Compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies.
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting information and trend.
  • Assist with month-end journal entries and account analysis.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements, including trial balance, P&L and Balance sheet.
  • Successfully complete all assigned organizational training and relevant professional training.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA is preferred.
  • 3-6 years of experience in financial accounting / reporting.
  • 2-3 years of Cost Accounting work experience is preferred.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP S4/Hana preferred) and Power BI reporting tool.
  • Experience with Google Suite preferred.
  • International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) accreditation (preferred).
