Description: 
We are seeking an experienced Power Platform developer with strong Power BI expertise to design and implement business solutions that integrate with SharePoint. This role focuses on building reporting, applications, workflows, and automation that enhance SharePoint-based processes, improve data visibility, and streamline business operations.
The ideal candidate has strong experience building Power BI reports and data models, along with Power Apps applications and Power Automate workflows that leverage SharePoint lists, libraries, and related data sources. The role requires both technical implementation skills and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions.

The candidate will be converting workflow applications and reporting solutions from legacy platforms into Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Experience migrating or modernizing solutions is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI & Reporting

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports using SharePoint and related data sources
• Build and maintain data models, relationships, and transformations (Power Query)
• Create DAX measures and calculated columns for business metrics and KPIs
• Optimize report performance and usability
• Implement data refresh strategies and ensure data accuracy
• Work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs

Application Development (Power Apps)

• Design and develop Power Apps applications that interact with SharePoint lists and libraries

• Create user-friendly forms, dashboards, and data entry interfaces

• Build applications that support document management, data tracking, and business workflows

• Optimize Power Apps performance and usability

Workflow & Automation (Power Automate)

• Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows that automate SharePoint-based processes

• Implement approval workflows, notifications, data synchronization, and task automation

• Design reliable and maintainable automation tied to SharePoint events and data changes

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing flows

SharePoint Integration

• Integrate Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions with:

  • SharePoint lists

  • SharePoint document libraries

  • SharePoint metadata and content types

• Design solutions aligned with SharePoint data architecture and governance standards

• Work with SharePoint structures including lists, permissions, and site architecture

Requirements & Solution Design

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and reporting requirements

• Translate requirements into scalable Power Platform and Power BI solutions

• Recommend best practices for data modeling, reporting, and automation

• Document solutions, data models, and workflows

Maintenance & Support

• Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI reports, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions

• Improve performance and reliability of existing solutions

• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, Power Query)

• Strong experience with Power Apps development

• Strong experience with Power Automate workflow design

• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint

• Experience working with:

  • SharePoint lists

  • SharePoint document libraries

  • SharePoint metadata and content types

• Experience designing data models and reporting solutions

• Ability to translate business requirements into dashboards and automated workflows

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise Power BI reporting solutions

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data integration patterns

• Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, and deployment pipelines

• Experience with Power BI security (RLS)

• Experience with SharePoint APIs or integration patterns

• Experience migrating legacy workflows or reports into Power Platform

• Strong UI/UX design experience for Power Apps and reporting
