Job Description
Senior Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Responsibilities
- Lead customer facing project execution for packaged equipment from award through commissioning and closeout
- Own project budgets including cost tracking forecasting cash flow margin and change management
- Manage projects involving packaged systems including pumps skids and integrated equipment
- Develop and maintain project schedules execution plans and resource forecasts
- Coordinate engineering procurement vendors fabricators contractors and internal teams
- Manage commercial aspects of projects including change orders pricing impacts and documentation
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide accurate project status and financial reporting to customers and internal leadership
- Oversee submittals approvals documentation testing and project turnover
- Identify execution and financial risks and implement mitigation plans
- Support pre award budgeting estimating and execution planning
Required Qualifications
- 10 plus years of experience in project management or related industrial roles
- Minimum 5 years leading complex projects with full budget ownership
- Strong experience managing project financials budgets forecasts and cost controls
- Proven customer facing leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing projects involving engineered or packaged equipment
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Willingness to travel to customer or project sites as required
Preferred Qualifications
- EPC or EPCM project experience
- Fire protection systems fire pumps or life safety equipment experience
- Familiarity with NFPA standards and AHJ coordination
- Experience with skid mounted or packaged equipment systems
- Mechanical electrical or industrial systems background
- PMP or similar project management certification
