Description
Position will assist the Records Information Management team with the following:
- Ensure all records data is entered and maintained per company standards.
- Records management as part of retention policy; assist employees and contractors involved with activities and projects associated with records classification and retention under direction of senior records staff.
- Assist as directed with records at field and remote offices across the enterprise along with off-site storage facilities.
- May be asked to support other services within the Records Management department.
- Assist with inventory management both physical and digital.
- Service Inbound calls and after hours calls for record requests.
- Assist with delivering training programs and train functional groups regarding compliance and the actions necessary to adhere to the company records and information management program.
- Ability to determine function of records and retention code in accordance with the company & retention schedule.
- Someone who had a role with utility operation records or geographic parcel or parcel legal experience would be a good fit.
- Past oil-well lease, chain of title, or other research experience would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of records and information management programs; Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and other automation tools desirable.
- Demonstrated ability interacting, advising, and communicating effectively (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work in environments that may not be climate controlled with records that are in a variety of conditions
- Detail-oriented box and file-level inventory skills
Position Requirements
- Support the Company Central Records help desk by taking inbound requests during working hours and after hours assigned (rotation).
- Ability to learn GIS, Maximo and Perceptive
- Intermediate level (min) Excel skills and SharePoint.
- Experience with printers, scanners and cameras
- Experience with digitizing records and publishing to ECM a plus
- Ability to work effectively individually and in a small team.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move 35-5lb boxes, operate a pallet jack, climb a ladder, and operate a storage truck/cart
- Experience with inventory management software (i.e. Gimmel Information and Records Management Software, Perceptive, Maximo)
- Valid driver’s license.
