Description:

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Collaborates cross functionally with company partners to assure accurate financial reporting information
- Prepares, maintains and develops schedules, reports and analyses for internal/external customers
- Compiles, organizes and analyzes reports/information associated with monthly management reporting and monthly variance explanations
- Maintains accounting records and associated back-up documentation
- Reconciles and analyzes ledger accounts and proposes adjusting entries, as needed
- Provides information and explanations for audit requests from internal/external auditors
- Communicates and coordinates with company partners
- Works with significant amounts of detailed data
- Supports reporting for Gulfstream JV, FERC Form 2 reporting of affiliate balance and intercompany settlement process
- Facilitates and records field accruals
- Supports legal project process
- Responds to general regulated accounting inquiries
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related major with a strong accounting focus and minimum two (2) years’ experience with preference in energy industry accounting
Preferred:
- CPA and minimum three (3) years’ experience in accounting in the oil and gas industry
Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:
- Available to work some overtime as the need arises during critical quarterly closings/reporting
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
