Description:
- Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team members
- Holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processes
- Coordinates efforts to ensure adequate financial accounting controls and integrity of our financial records
- Collaborates with others establish and maintain accounting policies, standards and processes in compliance with GAAP and accounting regulations
- Works with company partners to develop and handle financial analysis and reporting
- Coordinates the revenue accounting function for businesses regulated by FERC
- Collaborates with company partners on rate and tariff filings, FERC audits and other regulatory issues
- Responsible for inventory gas accounting
- Reviews contracts for Accounting Standards Codification 606 (ASC 606) implications
- Drives process improvement and data automation
- Leads sophisticated projects
Education/Years of Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted accounting experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team
- Preferred: Knowledge of FERC regulation and accounting requirements/processes
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP, Quorum, Bolo, or Latitude a plus
