HR Representative

Location: Tulsa, OK – Hybrid

Description


Performs entry-level activities for a variety of human resource programs and activities.
  • Provide assistance in the day-to-day administration of various human resources functions including but not limited to (as specified by position):
  • Employment
  • Benefits
  • Personnel research/statistics
  • Government reports
  • Special projects
  • Sickness benefits/FMLA
  • Developmental training
  • Labor Relations
  • Provide information and assistance relative to human resource policies and programs to employees, supervisors, managers, vendors, industry peers, and others.
  • Act as first line contact for general HR questions.
  • Prepare, process, and/or verify information and reports including but not limited to (as specified by position):
  • Government reports
  • Employment documentation
  • Benefits documentation
  • Correspondence
  • Research statistics
  • Training guides and catalogs
  • Testing/evaluation documentation
  • Employee documentation
  • Assist with special projects to provide support for division.
  • Assist in the facilitation and conducting of workshops and training sessions related to employee and management development.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
  • Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.    
    Position Requirements   
    • Preferred Associate’s Degree Associate degree in human resources or related field with previous experience working with a variety of human resource functions or equivalent formal education to include a combination of courses such as speech, algebra, statistics, personnel management, organization development, or business communication PLUS the following job-related experience:
    • Knowledge of human resources policies and programs.
    • Working knowledge of applicable functions including employment, compensation, payroll and/or benefit administration.
    • Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including using microcomputer applications such as Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point.
    • Working knowledge of application of math, algebra, and basic statistics.

    Working knowledge and/or training related to:
    • Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and report writer applications
    • Interpersonal/communication skills
    • Governmental regulations
    • Corporate organization structure
    • Development training programs
    • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret policies, reports, governmental regulations, benefits information, training materials, employment documents, procedures, and correspondence.
    • Demonstrated ability to conduct research, analyze, and prepare information and reports including numerical data, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
    • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively.
    • Demonstrated ability to make presentations to groups and individuals.
    • Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
    • Minimum Applicable driver’s license. Requires travel to offices and job sites throughout system.
    • Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings.
    • Communicate and/or exchange information verbally; conduct oral presentations.
    • Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties
