Location: Tulsa, OK

Description

Searching for an IT Director who will lead the Information Technology Operations Team. 

The ideal candidate would feel called to promote innovation, prioritize IT initiatives, and manage current and future IT services. The IT Director would help create develop, and execute the data services, technology, infrastructure, and systems strategy and policies. Supporting information technology solutions for function and operation will be critical.

Requirements for the position: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Information Services or Information Technology field, of which at least three years in a senior-level role, including leading a department or team.

  • Application, infrastructure & Telephony knowledge.

  • Must have vision and a demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, manage and implement IT within the parameters of a theologically conservative church.

  • Self-starter with proven ability.

  • Good strategic planning and leadership abilities.

  • Experience managing multiple individuals across departments would be helpful.

  • Proven track record of success in managing complex and innovative enterprises.

  • Ability to manage project and resource demands with business partners.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to apply IT to business challenges; create and implement strategies.

  • Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment and foresee technological advancements.

  • Knowledge of IT planning organization, project management, and development.

  • Able to work effectively in an environment where there are competing priorities and demand for quick resolution.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while serving others.

  • Must be able to work with all clergy, ministry leadership and staff effectively
