Cygnet App Support

Location: Oklahoma City, OK - Remote

Description

This position will be developing and administering Cygnet. Key functions of the role will be administering Cygnet – building and enhancing screens, adding and modifying existing devices and providing end user support

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Administer, develop, and support Cygnet; some OSISoft PI support could be included
• Assist end users with the use of Cygnet
• Provide technical expertise in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems.
• Liaison between facilities, production, and field automation teams
  • Ability to understand and communicate with field automation
  • Understand and be able to communicate with ROC, TotalFlow & Allen Bradley devices
  • Basic understanding of facilities & construction documentation
• Basic server administration and maintenance activities

PREREQUISITES

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Capable of working effectively and efficiently in a team environment
• Strong commitment to safety and environment
• Demonstrated application of strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help the team identify, communicate, and resolve issues
• Strong time management skills with the ability to organize, plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
• 5+ years experience supporting Cygnet required
• Experience supporting OSISoft PI is preferred, but not required
• Familiar with oil and gas field devices and equipment
• Strong knowledge of automation equipment, network communication (ROC, TotalFlow, Allen Bradley)
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, pressure, level, flow and temperature transmitters
• Server administration experience preferred
