Description:
We are seeking a Completions Engineer to lead the design and execution of well completions. This role involves developing completion designs and procedures, overseeing real-time operations, troubleshooting field issues, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in unconventional shale development, a strong technical foundation, and a collaborative mindset. Proven experience in optimizing completions through post-frac analysis, technology evaluation and deployment, and cost management is essential.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in hydraulic fracture design and execution in unconventional resource plays.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (petroleum, mechanical) required.
- Proficiency with completions engineering software and data analysis (GOHFER, ResFrac, WellCat, Spotfire, PowerBI, Corva).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of continuous improvement of completion designs and efficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel to field locations regularly, including overnight stays.
- Ability to oversee 24/7/365 operations as required. Engagement outside of normal business hours/days will be required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to assimilate effectively with both field operations and office technical staff.
