Job Description

Chemical Engineer

Location: Boise, ID

Description As the Chemical Engineering Owner’s Representative, you will support high-tech manufacturing projects by acting on behalf of the client. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to review and provide feedback on designs, specifications, and construction documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the client in reviewing and commenting on engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define design requirements and develop construction documents for complex manufacturing tools and infrastructure.
  • Provide technical oversight for systems including ultrapure water, chemical and gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and waste systems.
  • Review and edit specifications, P&IDs, layout drawings, equipment plans, and construction submittals.
  • Support construction and integration of systems into existing facilities, including retrofits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in chemical facilities engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design project delivery.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools or cleanroom environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute innovative ideas.
  • 3 years of field experience.
  • EIT or PE license.
