Audio Visual Technology Analyst

Description

Design and implement solutions for Audio Visual (AV) Technologies and help maintain a portfolio of AV applications. Responsible for day-to-day support, preventative maintenance, quality assurance of AV infrastructure, and associated components. Provide operational support and troubleshoot AV and control systems. Position will be based out of the Oklahoma City but travel to various field locations throughout North America may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Install, support, maintain, and Decommission AV infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot conference room issues with AV components and associated desktop PC hardware and software
  • Communicate issues to the larger team, vendors, and other IT teams
  • Lead and document End User training
  • Explore new emerging technologies in the AV space
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations for a better end user experience
  • Occasionally help with afterhours events

Requirements
  • Previous audio/visual production experience, to include operating a digital audio mixer and/or video equipment (switchers, cameras, lighting)
  • Previous audio/visual installation experience, to include installing projectors, mounts, screens, cable cubbies, microphones, and speakers
  • Strong customer Service skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment
  • Must have strong oral/written communications skills
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to perform moderate lifting, climbing, and crawling required to troubleshoot/install audio/visual hardware

Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting Desktop, Service Center, or Network
  • College Degree in related field (Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
  • InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS®)
  • Crestron DigitalMedia™ Certified Designer (DMC-D)
  • Crestron DigitalMedia™ Certified Technician (DMC-T)
  • Knowledge of Crestron control systems and related components
  • Knowledge of Crestron FusionRV administration
  • Knowledge of Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) and Cisco Video Communications Server (VCS) administration
  • Experience leading live production events
  • Experience programming room equipment
  • Experience with digital signage and related components
  • Experience documenting new build specifications and working with facilities/construction teams
