Accounting/Finance - Senior Accountant

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description

Responsible for all aspects of the G&A. Prepare quarterly and annual filings and financial statements. Analyzes account activity and provides information to management.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination and preparation of the Company’s financial statements and reports for internal distribution and regulatory filings.
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of the Company’s quarterly and annual filings required by National and State agencies.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain and balance various accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with preparing schedules and information required in connection with external audits.
• Prepare claims roll forward reports.
• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Highly organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
• Must possess working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• 4 to 5 years of work-related experience; preferably in a healthcare environment.
• CPA license and one year of public accounting experience preferred.
