Position Summary
Perform independent quality reviews of structural drawings and models to ensure compliance with company, client, and project standards before issue.
Key Responsibilities
- Review structural drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
- Verify dimensions, member sizes, elevations, connection details, and drawing consistency.
- Ensure CADWorx models match issued drawings.
- Confirm engineering markups and revisions have been incorporated.
- Coordinate review comments with designers and engineers.
- Review vendor drawings and support document control activities.
- Promote drafting standards and quality assurance best practices.
- 10+ years of structural drafting or design experience.
- Extensive knowledge of structural detailing and EPC drawing standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Previous design checking experience preferred.
- AutoCAD (Required)
- CADWorx Structure (Required)
- Navisworks
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office
Office-based position supporting engineering and design teams with occasional field visits as required. Must be able to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline EPC environment and manage multiple priorities.
