Job Description

Warehouse Specialist I

Location: Casper, WY

Description:

We are seeking a Warehouse Technician in Casper, Wyoming responsible for the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of incoming materials supporting refinery and warehouse operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming deliveries and verify shipment accuracy.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, quality, and compliance with purchase documentation.
  • Properly warehouse, organize, and store materials in designated locations.
  • Deliver incoming materials to appropriate departments or end users.
  • Coordinate and process outbound shipments for repair, return, or disposal.
  • Maintain accurate material handling and inventory practices.


Safety Responsibilities

  • Follow all refinery and warehouse safety policies and procedures.
  • Immediately communicate unsafe conditions or incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Participate in monthly safety walk-through audits and inspections.
  • Ensure all material handling and operations are conducted safely and in compliance with refinery standards.


Additional Duties

  • Perform special assignments or tasks as directed by the supervisor.
  • Support operational needs as required to ensure efficient warehouse operations.


Required Experience

  • Forklift operation experience required.


Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Work Environment
Work is performed in a warehouse and refinery-based industrial environment, which may include:

  • Controlled temperature warehouse areas
  • Outdoor conditions including inclement weather
  • Exposure to dust, dirt, chemicals, and petroleum products
  • Work near moving mechanical parts and rotating equipment
  • Noise and vibration exposure


Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
  • Communicate verbally and visually
  • Perform detailed visual inspections
  • Use hands and fingers for precise movements
  • Reach, grasp, and handle materials
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
  • Read and write technical and non-technical information
  • Operate motor vehicles
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including flame-resistant clothing
  • Perform strenuous physical activities when required
