Job Description

Civil/Structural Engineer

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description

The Civil/Structural Engineer position is responsible for developing designs, managing projects and leading project teams. 
 
Accountabilities:
 
  • Uphold engineering core values: integrity, honesty, teamwork, and quality.
  • Manage projects and associated tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform detailed engineering.
  • Check/review drawings, calculations, and documents produced by team.
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, project managers, and other colleagues to execute projects and provide reports/documentation.
 
Abilities/Skills:
 
  • Interact directly with clients, teams, and management.
  • Make independent, significant decisions on projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
 
Experience/Education Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in structural engineering.
  • Proficient designing concrete foundations and structural steel.
  • Experience with industrial facilities such as gas plants, refineries, etc.
  • STAAD.Pro software knowledge.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with 5 to 10 years’ experience.
