Description
This role requires 2-3 years prior compressor sales experience, including rotary screw oil-free and oil-flooded compressors, refrigerant and desiccant dryers, and all ancillary equipment commonly found in compressor rooms.
The position is responsible for providing sales expertise, technical support, and service within an assigned territory, while developing new business
through effective execution of territory sales strategies.
Essential Functions
- Achieve the assigned sales budget for the defined territory and customer base.
- Manage and grow the business while maintaining expenses within established budgets.
- Provide customers with engineering consultations, including design of complete compressed air systems.
- Coordinate with internal administrative, service, and sales support teams to manage accounts, parts procurement, service, and maintenance—enhancing aftermarket sales, customer loyalty, and retention.
- Assist customers with technical issue resolution.
- Support regional and corporate account strategies and promote new product offerings.
- Review and organize territory coverage to maximize efficiency, face-to-face selling time.
- Provide business updates to management as required.
- Deliver product, installation, and application training to end users.
- Conduct product and technology seminars for customer education.
- Serve as liaison between the company and its customers.
- When necessary, deliver products to end users.
- Adhere to all company Standard Operating Policies and Procedures.
- Work under general supervision; work is reviewed for judgment, accuracy, and alignment with the annual business plan.
- Represent the organization in the sale and marketing of company products.

- Ability to travel frequently.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Travel
- Daily travel by automobile is expected.
- Occasional air travel may be required for training and business-related activities
