Job Responsibilities
- Operate assigned processes safely and efficiently to meet quality, production, and productivity goals.
- Prioritize daily tasks in coordination with Production Leads and Supervisors.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment.
Review and update:
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Learning Resources for processes
- Complete annual personal and plant development goals.
- Assemble and disassemble production equipment.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Promote a culture of “Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time.”
- Act as issuer for safe work permits.
- Complete all assigned training successfully.
- Cross-train peers on approved functions.
- Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must remain clean-shaven for safety.
Ability to wear:
- Full-face tight-fitting respirator
- Fully encapsulated (Level A) ER suit
- SCBA or other supplied air respirators
- Must pass respiratory and physical tests.
Physically fit to:
- Lift 50 lbs
- Climb ladders
- Roll 200 lb cylinders
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, in Upper Mount Bethel, PA or Branchburg, NJ.
- Positive, safety-first attitude.
Ability to:
- Seek assistance when needed
- Learn technical processes quickly
- Collaborate effectively with others
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal English
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Participate in Emergency Response (ER) team, including as an entry team member.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Applied Science or related field.
- Process operations
- Chemical or hazardous material handling
- Mechanical/electrical systems
- Background in Nuclear, Electronics, or Mechanical training.
- Understanding of:
- Analytical processes in chemical production
- Root cause investigation methods
- 5S and Lean manufacturing principles
- Computer literacy.
