Position Summary:
The Business Services Manager is both a guiding force and an active working leader, leading our dedicated team while also being hands-on in preparing and placing customers in roles with our employer partners. This role requires a networking-savvy individual with significant connections in Tulsa, a sales and client relations background, and a talent for aligning participants with the right job opportunities. Key responsibilities include devising strategic placement plans to reach organization goals, overseeing day-to-day operations of the business services team, screening and placing program participants into jobs, fostering and expanding relationships with our existing and potential employer partners, and driving pivotal business development initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for placement and business engagement to ensure the company achieves program employment and advancement goals
  • Lead the Business Services Team including day-to-day department management, hiring, onboarding and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with Programs departments to determine the types of jobs that match the skills and qualifications of our job seeker base
  • Generate job opportunities for our job seeker base through new business prospects and developing relationships with current employer partners
  • Screen customer candidates for job interviews and make appropriate referrals to employers
  • Communicate with employers and job seekers to determine employment status and satisfaction with services delivered
  • Maintain a presence in the community by attending industry events, association meetings, and by delivering presentations about organization services where appropriate
  • Prepare for and facilitate weekly/monthly team meetings
  • Report on department performance against goals to the Executive Director and Leadership Team
  • Record daily activity in Salesforce CRM database including contacts, meetings, opportunities, calls/emails, and other related account details
 Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: human resources, job development, business-to-business sales or account management
  • Successful supervisory/leadership and sales experience
  • Proven ability to effectively network with others and build and manage client relationships
  • Experience in sales management preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of the transportation, manufacturing or healthcare industry is preferred but not required
  • Desire to work as part of a team dedicated to achieving excellent results while maintaining an evolving, positive and energetic workplace
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other comparable CRM software is preferred
