Third Party Crude Revenue Accounting Analyst

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description

The position will be responsible for valuing the purchases and distributing payments to working and royalty interest owners. The analyst will work within the Finance organization.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Completing monthly revenue processing and value distribution for lease volumes.

  • Computing, verifying, and processing division order transfers of interest to make timely royalty payments. related to the timely payment of royalties

  • Troubleshooting issues with operators, including royalty inquiries, discrepancies with interest payments, and supporting the research of ticket discrepancies.

  • Creating and maintaining master data for production, revenue, and regulatory master data setups to support the Revenue functions.

  • Preparing ad-hoc reports as required.

  • Reconciling monthly general ledger accounts.

  • Collaborating with the team and other groups to continually improve business processes.

  • Working closely with internal and external customers in a professional manner.

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business degree

  • 15+ hours of Accounting courses

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to seek and understand the root cause of issues

  • Highly detail oriented

  • Communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Team player and effective problem solver

  • Ability to thrive in self-directed position

Preferred:

  • SAP/PRA experience

  • Ability to understand custom processes

  • Proficient with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

  • Experience in Alteryx
