Testing Analyst, Mobile Pay

Description

Searching for a tester that would be supporting the Mobile Application program. This project is being run in an Agile/Scrum methodology and will require the completion of tasks within two/four-week sprints. The tester will be responsible for the planning, design and execution of testing plans/cases.

Responsibilities May Include

The tester is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of mobile and platform testing. Works collaboratively within the mobile application project team to execute and validate test cases based upon business system requirements. Identifies and documents defects when performing test execution in a fast-paced, fluid and changing environment.

  • Develops manual test plans, test suites, test Cases in Azure DevOps

  • Develop automated test scripts for regression testing

  • Develop negative both manual and automated negative testing

  • Assist business testers with logging bugs in Azure DevOps

  • Validates test plans/scripts meet user story acceptance criteria

  • Able to generate and/or design testing metrics

  • Ability to work for independently with good analytical skills

  • Collaborates well with team members

  • Review and test code based upon the release notes provided


Position Requirements

Basic/Required

  • 3 - 5 years working experience

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum project

  • Experience writing stories, estimating effort and completing user stories in sprint cycle

  • Experience with developing test scripts

  • Experience developing negative and/or destructive testing

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an open team environment


Preferred

  • Preferred Knowledge and experience using Azure DevOps Test Plans

  • Experience working in an agile project development environment is preferred

  • Familiar with Shift Left and continuous testing concepts
