Technical Design Engineer

Location: Olathe, KS

Job Overview
Currently seeking a Technical Design Engineer with experience working with Contractors throughout the construction industry.  The ideal candidate for this position will be able to expand the company’s business relationships through their knowledge and understanding of Geotechnical and Foundation Design engineering.  In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must have a solid technical understanding of the company and its products compiled with a social and outgoing personality to build rapport with both current and potential partners. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide technical support and preliminary designs for projects. 

• Developing new products to complete product lines.

• Attending trade shows and industry seminars through trade organizations.

• Develop and maintain product offerings and test data.

• Develop and maintain technical manuals and data, including testing materials.

• Lead seminars/Webinars on training events for contractors and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Required.  Civil or Geotechnical preferred. 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.

• Helical Pier Foundation experience preferred.

• Field Construction Experience preferred.

• Interpersonal skills with customer service orientation.

• AutoCad or similar design software experience preferred.
