Supply Chain Contracts and Procurement Specialist
Location: Anchorage, AK - Hybrid
Position Overview:
As a key member of the Willow Supply Chain team the position is accountable to directly assist the project in the following three critical activities:
Lead contracting and procurement activities required to deliver the projects Infrastructure scope
Support Post Award Contract Management requirements with key suppliers
Position is responsible to collaborate with key project management team members, Corporate SME(s) and Alaska Supply Chain to ensure Willow Supply Chain requirements are met while functionally aligned to Corporate and Business Unit (BU) requirements in the most productive and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate amongst the Willow Supply Chain team to build and sustain organizational requirements
Responsible to manage, track and distribute team reports, documents and other information
Support Procurement activities including PO development, issuance, and expediting
Work directly with Alaska Supply Chain, Project Controls and other Willow teams to ensure field/office contract cost transparencies, electronic rate validation and effective cost tracking
Responsible to manage analytical and market intelligence requirements
Liaison with Corporate and BU SME(s) to fulfill Supply Chain requirements and adopt recommendations and best practices
Lead assigned sourcing and contracting efforts for execution of project contract strategy requirements while meeting critical project schedule deadlines
Responsible for contract formation (pre-award) of contracts, including but not limited to terms & conditions, contract commercial schemes and contract exhibits
Development and recommendation of supplier negotiation strategies
Ensures compliance by contractors to the terms and conditions of contracts
Responsible for contract administration including contract changes, claims and documentation
Responsible for closing-out of contracts to release contractor and related claims
Coordinate and issue POs for infrastructure procurement requirements
Responsible for expediting and material hand-over to logistics and materials management
Support the Materials Management function as required
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors’ degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain Management experience, including a minimum of 3 years contracts experience
SAP or equivalent ERP system experience
Intermediate understanding of commercial strategies and market dynamics
Strong organizational and analytical abilities to manage multiple communication interfaces, information and effectively meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and negotiations skills to be influential and resolve problems
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a dynamic multi-office project team environment
Ability to analyze/interpret information effectively to communicate and achieve targeted objectives
Ability to fully understand Supply Chain ramifications to cost, schedule, quality and HSE
Ability to multi-task and maintain flexibility in meeting multiple demand requirements
Preferred
8 years or more of Supply Chain experience with diverse background
Previous experience in supporting Oil & Gas projects and operations
Advanced understanding of commercial strategies
Local Alaska and Global market exposure
CPM and or PMP professional designation
